I definitely want to Thank you all for all the warm thoughts, the prayers & especially the Hugs! I'm just about to bust loose finally, did manage well all day so far, but now the clean up at home I'm finding alittle hard. Lady is napping for now and I'm not sure how she's really doing. I know she didn't want to leave the vets office. We did get her outside and literally had to pick her up to put her in the car. We stopped and got a couple new squeaker toys...yea, she'll chew them up enough to get the squeakers out, but I know she loves those things, they really are her favorite.
Will say its awfully quiet around here, but so far we are all doing okay. Hanging in the best we can!!

Oh Mary, I am so sorry. We are facing the same decision with our oldest golden right now, it's so hard when we become so attached to them.

I'm so sorry to hear that Mary. Our thoughts are with you in your difficult time. It is never desired to have to say goodbye to a family member, much less two. I'm glad they both lived long happy lives with you.

Oh I'm so sorry I haven't been reading my blogs lately. I so sorry about Storm. I can't imagine how hard that must have been for you. You will be in my prayers. I hope Lady and you are doing as well as you can.

I cannot fathom losing two of my "babies" at once. I still miss Scraps, who died 2 years ago, and now we have no animals because we travel to see our kids, and I always took our animal at that time!
Our first cat, Scratch, lived to be 18, and he was as much a baby to us as our children since he grew up with them! The last 6 months of his life, I poached chicken, and fed him when he'd eat some and the broth, and took him for fluids once a month. He was in no pain, and then one day, well You just know! I miss him so much...he died 8 years ago!!

I am so sorry for your loss of Stormers and Panther. My Big Boo is 14 years old and is a diabetic and takes insulin twice a day. We are happy for every day with him. My Little Boo looks like your Panther. God takes care of his furry ones too! I firmly believe that! I want to personally thank you for posting ASPCA on your blog and being a supporter of rescues! I hope there will be some rescues or animals that need a loving environment that you can share your home with in the future.
I am so very, very sorry you have had to do this, but it reflects just how deep your love for these precious fur-babies is. It's never easy, even when you know it's the right hing to do. My thoughts are with you and your family.
