Wow so much happening this week in the order of surprises in the mail. I just got my prize for The June Tote Kit. Thank you Crochetoholic Debb!! And BIG Thank yous to Nicola who nominated me!!

FFBE- This Weeks Topic

For the Fall Felted Bag Exchange (FFBE)
So this week's topic: As of this weekend, the season has officially changed on the calendar - but what makes Autumn feel like Autumn to you, and why?

LOL Funny funny...wheres Autumn cause its sure not here yet...lol We're still in the 80's and expecting 90's back tomorrow :( Though while I was at my other favorite store..
Home Depot I saw these and that made me think of Autumn..Aren't they pretty! I always had Mums in my yard when we were where we actually had the different season. Somehow Autumn usually has me thinking cool air, apples (from the fruit stands) and lots of homemade applesauce. Use to find me in the yard planting the fall time flowers and sipping on coffee while sitting on the front step with a flannel shirt and sweat pants.
Sure do miss those times being here...lol Big changes of the seasons I depend on friends posting pictures!

Blume's Accessories Officailly Open!

I'm happy to say that Blume's Accessories is officially opened! I had my first customer today, Thank you Melissa! In my book, that makes me official.

Now I'm still trying to figure out the Banner part of the store, but Mike says he will help me with that. I know I pestered Jessi enough about it, but just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I do Thank you so much for all your help!!

I do hope to be adding more to the store during the weekend, So I hope you'll check back often.

Oh What Swap Goodness!

What a great surprise came tonight, I got my Knit 1 Tea 2 Swap package and what a package it is!! Here's what the box looked like once I opened it....(I got smart for a change and took these before tearing them open)



My pal was Amy over at The Yarn Closet. Thank you Amy so much!! I never even had a clue, even with the card you sent I couldn't make out the first letter of the state stamp. I also didn't get the chance to go through everyones blog and try to figure it out.

I love everything and can't wait to try the teas! She bought me Adagio teas. Theres a box of Jasmine tea bags (just right for taking to work), and then loose White Peony, Casa-blanca twist and Darjeeling#22.

Look at all the other wonderful and yummy goodies I got! Now I'm definitely gonna have to get that teapot I had my eye on..(I had too much fun buying for my pal) I love that color cotton for the dishcloth and pot holders, has all my colors in it!

I'm gonna have to hide the chocolates..lol So glad our weather is cooler too, they didn't melt :), but I will share the shortbreads so I don't get called any names...lol (yes the guys sometimes call me stingy)

Here's a close-up of my yarn goodies... I am so anxious to try all these new yarns (new to me). Beautiful colors, you did Super Amy and I can't Thank you enough!! Its a great intro to tea and one I can't wait to try. Thank you , Thank you , Thank you, I feel so spoiled :)

Now I'm off to go check out teapots and see if that one is still available!

Well i Finally Did it!

I'm so excited, I finally did it...I opened up an Etsy Shop! I'm far from being ready yet, but at least I have a space. Now just have to get my items listed and priced and set up paypal.
I just wanted to let everyone know. I will post when I am ready to open!

Also want to Thank you Chan for giving me some gentle pushes, how could I refuse as a co-worker of mine was doing the same thing, she even picked out the name "Blume's Accessories & more". Now if I could find that gif or my business card I would have it made..lol

Nice surprise this morning at work when I read through some email and saw one from Krista (dil).

Seems Krista & Tim and kids went out to Stampede Resevoir in Sierra California to go fishing. No one got a bit but Tj did and here he is with his very first catch! Woo-Hoo, WTG Tj!!! Thats Grammie's boy! Very first fish, Wow!

Also a pic of Kalee too, isn't she beautiful? This Grammie is very proud of her kids! and the scenery behind them is also beautiful! They keep asking me to come up there, my only problem is I won't come back home..lol We are working on it though, just keep sending the pictures Krista :)

Anne's First Pattern & I Did It!

Anne designed her first pattern for a knitted cloth and is having a contest. I posted about the contest here and here is a picture of my knitted cloth. I guess I'm getting faster as this one only took me about 2 day! (off and on in the evening and most today actually) but I did it.
As for a name of the pattern I wouldn't even know where to begin, but if you saw me stitching this it would definitely have stabbing in the name somewhere..lol Good luck Anne and I can't wait to find out what your gonna call it. It does remind me of blocks and the little triangles remind me of stairways.
