Happy DoT
Well I thought I didn't have a new pic for this week as its just still crazy at our place, but the hubster checked in on the girls and sent me this pic. Dont' mind the disaster, still working on the livingroom stuff and the blue is not quite true to the real color...no curtains up yet so it brightens it up quite a bit.
Sure wish I was home doing what their doing...lol but glad they do well together loose.
Happy Doggie Day to all!!

Whatnot & Dogs on Thursday
Welcome to another Dog on Thursday post! Boy, this week is going faster than the last one, but I'm so glad of that. I so look forward to the weekends now to spend time with my girls!
Sunday the girls were resting alot. We only got Coco as Lady turned away, but Coco looks like a little angel in this one. She just has that little innocent look about her. Later on when we all showered and settled in our chairs to relax some, the girls made up their momma time. Sorry didn't get all of me, but I was in my Jammie's :-0
I was actually surprised as Coco jumped up on the recliner with me without any help..I think it was the bowl of ice cream I had..lol Of course Lady had to come up too, she usually is. Somehow they manage to always get between my legs, but I'm glad Rob was able to get the camera before they moved. Think they'll both wind up being lapdogs, they just love their momma!
Especially with the past couple of weekends, we've been big time busy! We wound up repainting our living room as by the time Mike & Rob filled in all the holes from the train stuff, the walls looked like they had the measles...lol So now our living room is "Dreaming Blue" Its really pretty and I'll share photo's when we're done, but right now the guys are still building stuff and nothing is back on the walls yet. Also we have to replace some blinds as you'll see "glare" from the sun coming on in the window.
I gotta say the girls were great! Can't believe they stayed out of the way the whole time we were painting, but they also received alot of treats and outside time from our breaks. The weather last weekend was fantastic! Can you believe we actually had highs in the 60's! It was great and both doggies were tired little pups by the end of the day.

Hello Quizzy
Well I saw this over on Chan's blog and had to try it, boy does it fit, I'm surprised at how much is true!
You Are a Doris!

You are a Doris -- "I must help others."
Dorises are warm, concerned, nurturing, and sensitive to other people's needs.
How to Get Along with Me
* Tell me that you appreciate me. Be specific.
* Share fun times with me.
* Take an interest in my problems, though I will probably try to focus on yours.
* Let me know that I am important and special to you.
* Be gentle if you decide to criticize me.
In Intimate Relationships
* Reassure me that I am interesting to you.
* Reassure me often that you love me.
* Tell me I'm attractive and that you're glad to be seen with me.
What I Like About Being a Doris
* being able to relate easily to people and to make friends
* knowing what people need and being able to make their lives better
* being generous, caring, and warm
* being sensitive to and perceptive about others' feelings
* being enthusiastic and fun-loving, and having a good sense of humor
What's Hard About Being a Doris
* not being able to say no
* having low self-esteem
* feeling drained from overdoing for others
* not doing things I really like to do for myself for fear of being selfish
* criticizing myself for not feeling as loving as I think I should
* being upset that others don't tune in to me as much as I tume in to them
* working so hard to be tactful and considerate that I suppress my real feelings
Dorises as Children Often
* are very sensitive to disapproval and criticism
* try hard to please their parents by being helpful and understanding
* are outwardly compliant
* are popular or try to be popular with other children
* act coy, precocious, or dramatic in order to get attention
* are clowns and jokers (the more extroverted Dorises), or quiet and shy (the more introverted Dorises)
Dorises as Parents
* are good listeners, love their children unconditionally, and are warm and encouraging (or suffer guilt if they aren't)
* are often playful with their children
* wonder: "Am I doing it right?" "Am I giving enough?" "Have I caused irreparable damage?"
* can become fiercely protective

Happy DoT!
Wow, it sure seems Thursdays come up quick, but the week sure is going slow..lol I was desperate last night to get pics in this post so I could finish this morning at work...about laugh my butt off with this one picture of Lady. Little did I realize when taking it that it looks like she's smiling...lol (or am I still crazy)
Later this same day Coco came over to sit by Lady, so of course I had to get that shot too. Coco is so quick at times its hard to get good shots of her anymore. I can always guarantee a good one of her by Lady, she just LOVES Lady! This time Lady laid on her.
Don't they look nice and pretty, they got baths again over the weekend and just to show Coco isn't always a ball of fluff, here's her "wet shot".
Actually she's alittle scrawny thing and doesn't look like a chow at all when wet...lol Funny to see her fur part down the middle of her back and somehow her fur there when starting to dry curls. She is getting better about being brushed, Thank God. I don't have to corner her that much anymore :)
Well hope all have a great Doggie Day!!
