and the Stain Glass Window Bag . I just love that bag (Stain Glass Window) and its inspired me even more to learn to knit, heck I just may try that first!
Also, we all love to do contest and there is a contest here so blog on over and enter, It ends July 25th so there is still time. I found it through Chan's blog.
I did do some crocheting this weekend. I crocheted The Market Bag for a good friend of mine. It was so so easy and fast too! I started it on Friday afternoon and only had to finish up the handle Saturday morning. I really was surprised that I didn't try this bag before. I will say it is BIG, measure 15" across the center bottom which is circular. Nice size for market or even make a great beach bag to throw things in or a project bag too. Here's a pic of the one I made.
Came out great! I have started another one for myself too :)

Mary, you are a brave soul to knit socks as a "beginner" knitter!!! kudos, woman! Seems we all were filling the coffers of yarn dealers this weekend!
Those yarns look yummy! Your market bag looks great.
So much pretty yarn... That's a great sock book for beginners! You'll be turning heels in no time. ;)
ohhh I love it I just made one too.. I will post it on my blog...do you think the handles will stretch out much? I think I might reinforce with bias tape...oh can you tell me where your Wish List is for the crochetoholic swap blog as I am making it a link for everyone.
