"Mugsy crossed the Rainbow Bridge around 9:30 Saturday night. The emergency vet's best guess is that he had a stroke two weeks ago when he lost use of his hind legs. He did have quite a spot of arthritis in his lower spine, but that wasn't in a location that would explain his breathing difficulties he had tonight. It seems his bladder was unable to empty itself, and the evidence over the previous week made it clear that we only had one option that would spare Mugsy further suffering."
I know my dear friend Chan will need lots of comfort with all that her & Mark have been through lately, so hope that you can send some love & prayers their way! Chan & Mark, our hearts go out to you both and know that you are in our prayers! Love you guys!! I hope that Sissy can help comfort you through this difficult time.
I know Mugsy was your world, but he's playing with Fred now and they are having a ball. Another shiny star to watch over you all! May Peace find way to your heart!

Oh dear me! I loved Mugsy, he was adorable.
We're all missing the sweet man ... its so neat to see his adorable face all over blogland though, truly shows how much he and Chan are loved.
Wasn't it a shame about Mugsy? And such a surprise. He was doing so well and Chan had such high hopes for the little cart she ordered.
It is so sad.
