Swap & Contest News

First up Anne & Martina are celebrating their 1st Blogiversary! Happy Blogiversary Ladies! You know with Anne theres always a contest, so click on over there so you can enter too! Pretty yarnie goodness :-)

Second up the next round of Annes dishcloth swaps is starting. Its called "Defeat the Winter Doldrum Swap". As it says on the site, we’re heading into the darkest, coldest part of winter, so your package should focus on ways to brighten your pal’s day. Sign ups start January 11th and to get things rolling, there’s a prize to be won if you enter the pre-swap contest.

I also think there is time to still sign up for the "Year Long Gift-a-Long". Pretty neat idea and already I've got 2 items completed for my January goals for gifts or for items just to have on hand. You won't find me next Christmas season crocheting up till the Eve of the Holiday! Marce is heading this up and this is what she says on the blog:
"This is my attempt to find a group of people like me that enjoy giving handmade gifts, but forget that joy when the birthday/holiday/special occasion is just hours away and there are still un-weaved ends in sight. Not This Year! Sign up to become part of a new movement, a movement away from stressful giving."
