I wonder about me sometimes...lol If it weren't for catching up on blog reads for a few minutes, I would've forgotten all about this award. Shawnee over at Shawnee's Tangled Tale gave me this award! Thank you so much Shawnee ! Its nice to know you've stuck it out with me this long..lol

Shawnee has alot happening on her blog and I just love the aprons she does. I hope to get in on one of those Apron Swaps with her eventually. Just have too much going on at this moment.

In other news, I got a brand new start on my Felted Stain Glass Tote. I had written the designer as I wasn't quite sure of some things so I emailed her and well, she acted fast, but she rewrote the pattern...lol I restarted and am currently about 40% through. Haven't had a whole lot of time to work on my projects, thinking maybe I should have picked small, very small things to do..lol, but I do love a challenge and I do hope to have this tote done soon. At least now I understand what to do. Don't think I will make any progress on the sweater, still where I was when I started that one, but here's the tote so far.
I'm on Row 4, only 5 more to go plus handles! In the pic, my red is more of a burgundy red and what looks white is tan, hate when the flash washes out the colors..lol Didn't think to see how it looks in ravelry.

Well, gotta get my stuff together and put the pups collars back on so Dyna will here them coming...lol

Ravelympics 2008

As you all may know the games did start yesterday. I am hoping to start my projects for this in the next few hours or tomorrow. Seems to be my MO of being late anyways..lol but I've been working on a couple quick needed items to do and to me those are alittle more important right now. I'm on a shorter time limit with those :)

I'm in Team Bob and I am signed up for the Bag-N-Tote Backstroke and I'm making this bag, though not in those colors-dratz...

It is crochet so I should be able to catch up quick. Its the crochet version called The Felted Stained Glass Tote and you can find here.

I am also signed up for the Sweatersprint and am doing the Ivory Shell Sweater though not sure if I'm doing it in an off white or a light bone color. Its from Positively Crochet by Mary Jane Hall and that's the sweater on the cover. I do hope I can get that done by the time the games are up. It will be a challenge for me for sure as I have so much going on..lol but I actually did get a chance to look around Ravelry and see all the different team names and there is one I definitely would've fit in..their called Team Hopelessly Overcommitted!

In doggie news, sorry didn't get that Thursday post up, but didn't have any new pics to post. Both girls are doing good and boy is Coco growing! Will work on getting some new pics for this week coming post. Lady does plays alittle dirty now, knocking into and or biting Coco's fur as she runs by, though Coco starts the whole chase me around thing...lol Tell you, she ain't afraid of anything but maybe the vacuum..lol She follows Lady everywhere and they do tug together too. Have tried getting a pic of that, but as soon as they see us they stop. Coco does have times where she doesn't leave Lady alone and can really be a pest, but all in all their great together.

Well I'm gonna get back to my crocheting now. Hope all have a great weekend!! and hey you all, we did finally get some real rain on our side of town! Yipppeeeeeeeeeeeee!
